SK Originale goes into dancehall


SK Originale, co-writer of ‘Aha ye de’ hit song, has joined the most acclaimed music genre in Ghana now, dancehall.

And to prove his prowess, the musician, born Sokpo Kwaku Mawuli, has released a song titled ‘Atame’ to that effect.

SK Originale said in a statement that, he is full of surprises and he does not feel limited in music when it comes to any genre.

According to him ‘music is a feeling so when it comes to you, you unleash it, and you don’t pay so much attention to the genre but I think I will be doing Dancehall for some time.’

SK Originale has over the years featured on noted hit songs such as Castro’s ‘Fakye’ (forgive), Ofori Amponsah’s ‘Tofee’, Obour’s ‘Atupan Jenje,’ Samini’s ‘I love you’ (Je t’aime), Ruff N Smooth’s ‘Azingele’, and VIP’s ‘One Ye’.
