If We Unite In Prayer With One Heart, Our Homes, Communities And This Nation Will Be Transformed—2nd Lady Emphasizes

The wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Matilda Amissah-Arthur, has said if we will unite in prayer with one heart, our homes, communities and this nation will be transformed and the lord will be glorified as we are blessed.

The Second Lady Mrs. Matilda Amissah Arthur, made the call as the Guest of Honour at the 20th anniversary celebration Break fast meeting of the Susanna Wesley Mission Auxiliary of the Methodist Church, Ghana in Accra on Saturday at the Rev Thomas Clegg Memorial Methodist church in Kanashie, Accra.

Mrs. Amissah Arthur called on them to be that woman who is, prayerfully supporting and nurturing young women, teaching them not only with the Bible but also more importantly with your lives.

Be the salt and the light and you will be blessed greatly as the Lord is glorifies, they should be ready to praise God in spite of our difficulties, even when the Lord proves faithful to us do we remember to praise Him? If for nothing lets learn to praise God for His love to us and for the air we breathe.

She said they should also remember that as Christians God delights in our praises. Adding that some of them leave God when they leave their homes, others leave God in Church; they have him only on Sundays – much like a Sunday – Sunday medicine.

She called on the members to deist from the attitude that or most Christians God is only for when they are among other Christians, when the going is smooth and during Christian engagements like this morning.

Mrs Matilda Amissah Arthur said when David said he would praise the Lord, he understood exactly why. David had come to know the Lord intimately; he had experienced God’s love, favour, faithfulness and protection.

He had come to a place where he could not leave God out of his life. So they should see them selves as Sisters, who are uniquely placed as women. And uniquely placed as Children of God because we have accepted Him as our savior.

She said she prayed that as they celebrate their 20th anniversary they will recognize the role Susanna played in the lives of John and Charles Wesley.

The Second Lady Matilda Amissah Arthur, assisted them to dedicated Choir robes and the induction of Patrons and Chaplains and the presentation of trophy’s for the best group.
