It has emerged from the Accra Hearts of Oak Secretariat that the club will confirm experienced coach, Hebert Addo, as its head trainer today.
The club’s Board, headed by Togbe Afede XIV, is expected to officially confirm Addo as head coach.
After weeks of negotiations, it is still uncertain how much Addo will be receiving as monthly salary and how long he will work with the Rainbow family.
A reliable source at the club hinted that “Even the PRO doesn’t know how much and how many years he will sign for the club, but the board has given the assurance that it will make it known on Thursday during the coach’s confirmation.”
Coach Addo, who would be assisted by Steve Abugri, is taking over from Mohammed Polo who guided Hearts to a third place in last season’s First Capital Plus league.
Coach Addo, former Pure Joy/Asante Kotoko trainer, rescued Premiership debutants Inter Allies from the relegation zone and guided them to an enviable sixth position on the league table.
Today’s announcement marks the coach’s return to the Phobians, having worked with the Accra-based club many seasons ago.
