Twum Boafo Slaps Driver

Kwadwo Twum-Boafo under police investigations
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Free Zones Board, Kwadwo Twum-Boafo, has purportedly assaulted his driver, Seth Obeng, the Airport Police has been told.

The alleged victim of the assault told the police that his boss’ action was triggered when he (driver) tried to calm him (boss) down in the course of an altercation with an old woman.

Seth Obeng said his intervention angered his boss who wanted to slap him but he blocked his hand.

However, Seth said he suffered slaps and poundings from Kwadwo Twum-Boafo when they got to the CEO’s residence.

Unknown to the driver that his boss was still nursing the anger over his daring act of intervening in the altercation with the old woman, Kwadwo Twum-Boafo descended on him with a slap and other forms of assault.

Not even the intervention of the politician’s mother could save the driver from the fists of his boss.

So severe was the assault that the driver bled from his nose and ear.

Seth said he was also hearing some strange noise in his ears after the unprovoked attacked.

He subsequently reported the incident to the Airport Police.

The police, according to the victim, gave him a hospital treatment form to seek medical attention at the LEKMA Hospital.

DSP Freeman Tettey, Accra Regional Public Relations Officer, confirmed the development on Joy FM, adding that the police had commenced investigations into the report.

Attempts to reach Mr. Twum-Boafo were unsuccessful.
