The search has been on-going since Sunday July 6, 2014 and it’s over a week now but there is still no sign of Castro and Janet Bandu.
It has emerged that Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan who went to Ada for weekend getaway with Castro and some friends, did not just wait at the Peace Holiday Resort for the police alone to search for his missing friend Castro as perceived.
Sources in Ada and some pictures available to Peacefmonline.com indicates the Ghanaian striker and his crew actually took a boat ride on the Volta River in an effort to support the search team but they returned to base without any sign of Castro or Janet.
Asamoah “Baby Jet” Gyan checked out of the Peace Holiday Resort in Ada where he has been lodging for the past five days after Castro and his lady friend, Janet Bandu’s tragic disappearance.
Manager of Peace Holiday Resort, Mr. Paul Sasu revealed this on Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” programme Thursday July 10.
According to him Asamoah Gyan and his entourage including his elder brother Baffour Gyan; Manager, Sammy Anim Addo, some family members among other friends checked out of the resort on Thursday.
According to eye witnesses, Asamoah Gyan looked very worried and he was seen with his hands on his head with a face just like when he missed the penalty in the 2010 world cup.
They didn’t allow photographs to be taken during the operation even though it was a public place and Asamoah Gyan’s security was quick to approach anyone they saw taking photos with their phones and forcefully deleted them because they had hopes of finding Castro and Janet alive.
However, the pictures above were still taken while Asamoah and his team were on the search operation in Ada before they finally moved to Accra last Thursday.
