Ghana Looks Forward To Multi TV-HFC Habitat Fair From 1st To 3rd August At The National Theatre


The MultiTV Habitat Fair will be held in Accra from August 1 to 3, 2014.The theme for the Fair is: ‘Plan. Execute. Regulate’.

The fair is expected to help solve the housing needs and also give the public and private sector executive a real opportunity to gain insightful knowledge about the housing industry and its strategic link to long-term national development.

It is expected to bring together decision makers and policy implementers, corporate executives, financial controllers and directors, public sector decision makers, as well as building and construction practitioners from all sectors of Ghana. Also to feature will be an array of high-profile and widely sought-after speakers and business leaders in the housing industry.

A release issued in Accra said the cost of attending the three-day fair would be free for all. Also, it noted that there would be an exhibition which would run throughout the days. Individuals who wants to exhibit their Housing products and services will pay an amount of GHC 5000 or more depending on their selected package.

Commenting on the fair, the Chief Operating Officer of MultiTV, Mr Klaus vonBackustien, said ‘The call for value adding professionalism and proper enforcement of policies of property acquisition from the housing fraternity has never being greater’ adding ‘It is a fact that through proper education, and enforcement of the laws, individuals, organisations and society as a whole can sustainably achieve the ultimate goal’.

The General Manager in Charge of Consumer Loans at HFC Bank, Mr Charles Bonsu was also quoted in the release as saying that ‘Socio-economically moving the nation forward to sustainably create a better Ghana is inextricably linked to property acquisition through strategic mortgaging plans with HFC Bank.’

He said without doubt, carefully crafted public and private sector sourcing strategies and implementation plans can accelerate the enforcement of property acquisition policies.
