He further appealed to all the Nigerians to remain calm and to focus on their normal business, as the Federal Government is doing everything possible to bring back peace to the nation.

The NOA boss further addressed the elite, asking to restrain themselves from making comments that are not true about the security situation in Nigeria, without referencing to any concrete information, so as not to escalate the security challenges in the country.

Omeri has finally assured that the kidnapped GGSS Chibok girls would soon be returned. He declared that the security agencies are working hard to ensure their safe return and so does the Federal Government.

It would be added that a prominent Nigerian politician, Nasir El-Rufai, accused the Nigerian Army of fighting peaceful people, instead tackling Boko Haram.

A renowned Northern political, cultural and social group, the Arewa Consultative Forum, has also condemned in strong words the current situation with human rights in Nigeria, described the arrest of 486 people from the North as completely unacceptable.
