Student Leadership Forum To Be Held From Sept. 5-6

A students’ leadership workshop/forum for leaders of the various tertiary institutions across the country is scheduled for the last quarter of this year.

Put together by the LEED Forum, an Accra-based organization, the two-day event, running on September 5-6, will see an assembly of some of Ghana’s finest student leaders.

The forum is expected among other things to strengthen and develop the many facets of student leadership, and politics, drawing attention to the often-overlooked areas.

Rebecca Donkor, Executive Director of LEED, says her outfit is all set to hold the maiden edition.

‘We are ready for the maiden edition. This is the first of its kind, and we want to make it worth the anticipation.’

‘We’ve put together some of the finest brains locally, who would take our leaders through the rudiments, ethos, and basics of leading as a student.’

Some of the topics the participants will be taken through include Leadership communication, sponsorship procurement, and developing interpersonal skills.

They will also take lessons in entrepreneurial and business management, and financial management and strategic investment.

The interactive sessions according to the organizers, are going to be practical to the core, allowing them to build presentation skills.

The event would be held at the conference room of the Accra International

Trade Fair Centre.
Interested student leaders and schools are invited to take part in this life-changing event.
