Stonebwoy
Reggae and dancehall artiste, Livingstone Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has unveiled his new single ‘More Gyal’ which features Ashaiman-based DXD.
The 26-year-old talented songwriter and singer released the single after a successful tour of some major cities in Europe, Austria and Italy. Stonebwoy during his tour shot two videos, ‘Watch Over Us’ and ‘Candy’ from his yet-to-be released album.
He also worked on two projects – Ridal Riddim, and Pretty Cutty – which also featured some Jamaican stars including, Bennie Man, Busy Signal, and Elephant Man.
Stonebwoy, speaking in an interview with Hitz FM, explained that the concept of ‘More Gyal’ as a song is purposely to appreciate all types of girls (women), irrespective of their body stature and how beautiful they are.
His motivation for ‘More Gyal’ was due to the fact that some women he has grown to know and come into contact with including the average-sized, plump, petite, slim and skinny seem not too comfortable with themselves.
