‘This is to wish the hundreds of thousands of final year Junior High School students who are preparing to take the Basic Education Certificate Examination from Monday, 16th June to Friday, 20th June, the very best of luck.
‘Education is a matter of the greatest importance to the prosperity and welfare of any society. I believe that a society that aims to transform itself into a modern productive player in the global market, as we in Ghana must seek to do, can only do so with education and skills training of its young people. Quality, accessible education is the key to Ghana’s future’, he said in a statement issued over the weekend.
‘Good luck! God bless!’ he concluded.
In a related development, the youth wing of the NPP has extended special goodwill message to all the BECE candidates.
‘Having persevered to come this far amidst all the challenges mostly beyond the student at all levels of our educational system, it is the prayer of the entire Youth Wing, that the Almighty will be your guide and also grant you retentive memory to successfully scale over this all-important exercise, meant to prepare and usher you into the realm of higher academic pursuits.
‘Additionally, we wish to make a passionate appeal to all candidates to resist the temptation to indulge in any examination malpractice which will only put your future in danger’, a statement signed by Samuel Awuku, National Youth Organizer, underscored.
