Some angry youth of the National Democratic Congress NDC) in the Upper West regional capital of Wa have defaced posters of President Mahama, their Member of Parliament for Wa Central, Rashid Pelpuo and that of the party.
According to them, the latest reshuffle by the President which replaced Upper West Regional Minister, Mr Bede Ziedeng with Roads and Highways Minister Alhaji Amin Sulemana was a sign of disrespect for the region.
They were said to have started their action around 4am on Thursday.
They used red paint for their destructive action.
It took a police intervention to prevent further devastation as the youth had in their possession a gallon of petrol which they intended using to burn the regional party office.
