Gyataba Roars At Mahama

He said there was no hope for the citizens irrespective of their political colours, noting that Ghana was in a mess.

The UFP Chairman attributed the harsh economic conditions to the mismanagement of the current Mahama administration.

Gyataba disclosed this while addressing thousands of people, who were clad in black and red attire and took part in the ‘Ya Ye Den’ demonstration in Kumasi yesterday.

The UFP chairman actively took part in the demonstration to protest against government’s neglect of the Ashanti region.

The action of the government is said to have retarded the development of the region and led to the collapse of many businesses.

‘What have we done to merit this injustice?’ the depressed Gyataba quizzed.

He said apart from the mismanagement of the country’s economy, President Mahama had forced the Capitation System on the people of the Ashanti region.

According to him, many people died in the past as a result of the ineffective capitation system.

He said the erratic power supply had negatively affected the activities of many people.

Gyataba slammed the NDC administration for leading the country into an abyss, saying Ghanaians deserve better.
