Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué was caught on camera telling Spain coach Vicente del Bosque that Cesc Fà bregas’s will quit Barcelona this Summer.
“Someone needs to stand up for Cesc. He’s told me it’s a done deal. He’s leaving now for 33 million”, Piqué said.
“The president just can’t seem to catch a break. You’re going to drive the poor guy crazy”, Del Bosque responded, to which the Spain coach replied that Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu “just can’t seem to catch a break”.
The conversation – which saw both Piqué and Del Bosque cover their mouths while they were speaking – was recorded by the Spanish public broadcaster ‘Televisión Española’ as the pair waited for a promotional event to get underway.
