New Office For Assin North NPP

The Assin North branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will soon get a GH¢2,000 ultra-modern party office at Assin Breku in the Assin North District of the Central Region.

In view of that, the constituency executives of the party over the weekend organized a fund-raising ceremony at Breku to solicit funds to support the execution of the project.

The construction of the two-storey building is expected to start this month and end next year.

The building would comprise a conference room, offices, stores, toilets facilities among other.

Addressing the crowd, the regional chairman of the party, Robert Kutin stated that the opposition party needs a lot of money to run the activities of the party.

Mr Kutin reiterated the commitment of the regional executives to ensure that Assin North, which is an orphan constituency, obtains enough resources to capture the seat from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The National Organizer of the party, John Boadu stressed the need for people, who were not able to register in the last elections because they had not attain the age of 18 to do so to enable them vote in the district assembly election.

‘We would win all the Assin seats since the regional chairman and I are all natives of Assin and that would even ensure the total victory of our dear party,’ he added.

The constituency chairman, Bright Owusu Ansah hinted that the vision of the constituency executives is to get an office for the party in the area.

He called for unity among the supporters of the party and work hard to capture power in 2016.

All the regional executives of the party, as well as some constituency executives, were in attendance.
