Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Polo insists he is fully concentrated on the final match of his season as his contract as interim coach of the side expires on Thursday.

The ex Ghana star’s six-month contract with the Phobians runs out on Thursday after leading the side out for their final match of the season against New Edubiase on Wednesday.

Polo has endured a turbulent time at Hearts since taking over from coach David Duncan at the end of last year.

He has lost a staggering eight, drawn three and won six his 17 games in charge of Hearts.

Polo however insists he is not looking beyond the final game on Wednesday despite the presence of the distraction caused by his running out contract.

‘First things first, I have not finished my work yet and that will be on Wednesday,’ he told Power FM.

‘So we concentrate on the Wednesday game and then after we’ll see what will happen.’

Hearts are still in with a chance of finishing second which will see them make a return to the CAF Champions League.
