NBA: Steve Ballmer bought the Clippers

We are moving towards the end of the Donald Sterling series. The oldest franchise owner in the NBA will not initiate legal battle to try to keep the Los Angeles Clippers. Banned from any activity related to the NBA and forced to sell the organization , Donald Sterling will sell Lob City to Steve Ballmer. The former boss of Microsoft will be the new owner.

Some days ago Sterling stated in a letter to the NBA having had an offer for the sale of the Clippers . The league said in a statement that it has validated the redemption of the double champion of the Pacific division. The amount of the transaction is $ 2 billion, an offer from Steve Ballmer.

With this sale of the Clippers, the Board of Directors will not meet again on June 3. The formalization of the transaction remains a mere formality.

Steven Anthony Ballmer has resigned from Microsoft just three months ago after more than 30 years in the company.

His personal fortune is estimated at over $ 14 billion.
