Ministerial Reshuffle Should Be Aimed At Addressing Challenges Facing Ghana

President Mahama has effected a further deputy ministerial reshuffle with the appointment of three new deputy ministers.

The exercise is a prerogative of the President.

A political scientist, Dr Seidu Alidu has been explaining to Radio Ghana what the exercise portends.

To him, it is expedient only if it is geared towards addressing challenges facing the country.

Dr Alidu said Presidents over the years have not been spared pressure, from both within and outside their parties.

He said the President must listen to the party faithful during this period, but was quick to add that, the people are not always right in what they clamour for.
