Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has attracted interest from Egypt, with an unnamed club said to have made contact with the 29-year-old.
The Ghana international is believed to be frustrated in Mayfair, having played second fiddle to Senzo Meyiwa since arriving at Bucs ahead of the 2013/14 season.
Dauda made just two starts and one substitute appearance for Pirates this past campaign, and naturally he is hungry for game-time.
“One of the teams in Egypt have made contact and it looks promising,” says a source close to Dauda.
Dauda will seek to reassert his value at the upcoming World Cup.
