Election 2016; a make or break for NPP – Anthony Karbo asserts

Former National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Karbo has charged party members to bury their differences and work together for a landslide victory in 2016.

He said the 2016 general elections  “is a make or break” for the party’s survival and relevance in Ghana’s body politic.

Describing disunity as the greatest bane in the NPP, Anthony Karbo on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Friday, called on the Afoko-led National Executives to nip the situation in the bud.

According to him, people who make hotheaded statements must be sanctioned to serve as a deterrent to others.

Anthony Karbo who says he is hungry for power, maintained that ‘tenacity, focus and purposefulness’ is key to the NPP’s victory in 2016.

He noted that in the wake of socio-economic hardships due to the non-performance of the Mahama-led administration, the NPP is the obvious choice.

“We must be seen to be ready for power,’ he stated.

The former youth leader said when the party is united, electioneering campaign will be a mere formality to give the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) a run for their money.

Anthony Karbo urged party members not to be perturbed by the recent happening in the party but rather work assiduously to ensure victory in 2016. Story by Ghana/Adomonline.com/Adwoa Gyasiwaa
