So Far, So Good …Stars Coach Declares

Ghana’s coach Kwasi Appiah is gladdened by the current state of affairs in the Black Stars camp in Arnhem, Netherlands.

The team, which left the country last Saturday, is currently pitching camp in the Netherlands as part of their final preparations for the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

On Saturday, they would take on their Netherlands counterparts in one of the international test games lined up to prune the edges before next month’s competition.

Head trainer Appiah has said in plain words that all is well with his team saying, ‘I am highly impressed so far. So far, so very good. All the players are responding very well to tactics. Training has been good; I am hoping it will continue like this.

‘We don’t have any injury concern for now, and I am happy about that, we are gradually getting there by way of tactics, we have had four training sessions, it has gone so well,’ Appiah said from the team’s Arnhem base.

Coach Appiah would test his 26 men this Saturday after which he would prune the list to 23. He would later fly the 23 to Miami, US where they would play South Korea on June 9 in their last international friendly.
