Chennai will face Kings XI Punjab in the second qualifier after an seven-wicket eliminator victory over Mumbai Indians on Wednesday.
And Raina says the result capped a dream day following his recall to the national set-up as skipper.
“God has been very kind to me,” he said. “We executed the bowling plan really well. And then the batsmen, all of them did their job.
“I knew I had to bat until the last over. The wicket was really good, the ball was coming on nicely.
“I knew I could hit (Pragyan) Ojha over midwicket and Bhaji (Harbhajan Singh) over cover. Huss (David Hussey) was batting well and we were running between the wickets well too.
“Ishwar (Pandey) took a brilliant catch to dismiss (Corey) Anderson and hopefully we can continue playing good cricket in the next two games as well”
