Fellowship Of Living Praise Church Shows Love And Care To Widows


The Fellowship of Living Praise church, which is involved in many efforts to help the needy, including the widows around the world, on 27th May, 2014, fed over 60 widows at the church in Accra Fan Milk Ablekuma.

The church which doesn’t discriminate, saw both Christian widows and Muslim widows from different communities received donations like; bags of rice, six cartons of milk, a bottle of oil, toilet rolls and a tin of milo.

Rev. Felix Nortey and Rev Ernest Nortey who are members of the Living Praise Church also had the opportunity to be rewarded for the good job they have done for the church in the past years.

According to the head pastor, Rev. Dr. Charles Nii Odartey Mills, the founder and General overseer, he said that the church have future plans of putting up a foundation for the less privileged, but for now, gifts and donations are being giving frequently.

Rev. Mills counseled the widows and advised them to put their trust and hope in God, since there’s a potential in them and God have big plans for them. The church mother, Mrs. Sophia Naa Chiche Mills, expressed her gladness for the church remembering the women whose husbands have passed away.

Rev. Dr. Charles Nii Odartey Mills gave thanks to the media who were present. Rev. Henry Mills John Helweg and Paul Helweg, who came all along from Minnesota – USA to support the donation.

He also gave thanks to Woodland Bible Church in Minnesota – USA, who happens to be fellowships of Living Praise affiliated church in the states.
