Midfielder Abdul Aziz Tetteh is targeting the AFCON 2015 qualifiers to chart his way back into Black Stars after being overlooked for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The 24-year-old was one of the star performers for his Greek side Platanias this season making 40 appearances as they escape relegation.

Tetteh, who played alongside Samuel Inkoom for the just ended campaign, earned his debut Black Stars call up in 2008 under then coach Claude Leroy but has since failed to earn a call up after that.

The former Liberty Professionals player says he is targeting a return to international football.

‘I have had a solid season in Greece. On a personal note I am happy for myself,’ Tetteh told GHANASoccernet.com.

‘But I can do more, I am looking to representing my nation once more and I am targeting doing that immediately after the world.

‘I wish the team well and pray that we win the cup.’

Tetteh was an integral member of the Liberty team before signing with Italian side Udinese in January 2008
