Bible Society holds leadership forum

A three day African Biblical Leadership forum  expected to bring transformational leadership in the country is  underway in Accra.It is being organised by the Bible Society of Ghana( BSG)  with the support of the British, American and other foreign bible societies, to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

 
The meeting, on the theme, ‘The missing factor in Leadership’, will also draw members from the legislative arm of government, together with a 14-member delegation from the Ghanaian Judiciary, led by the Chief Justice.

Discussions will focus on corruption, discipline, lawlessness, bribery and servant leadership.

At a Press conference to herald the forum, the  General Secretary of the BSG, Rev Erasmus Odonkor, said the intention of the programme was to increase the credibility and profile of the Bible in all aspects of the African society.

He said it was expected that the programme would empower African leaders by discussing the Bible’s emphasis on integrity, compassion and justice in leadership, with the belief that it would lead to a positive transformation of nations.
