Lions keep chase for continental spot

Amidaus Professionals have slumped to the bottom of the Premier League table after dropping vitals points in their 3-1 loss at home to Heart of Lions.

Despite Amidaus struggling to lift themselves from the bottom of the table, it was the opposite for Lions, who are closing in on picking the second CAF Champions League spot.

The Kpando side are now just a win away from a debut season in continental football.

At the T&A Park, Medeama were 2-0 winners over Berekum Chelsea.

Malik Akowuah opened the scoring in the first half before Nathaniel Asamoah doubled their lead after recess.

In Cape Coast, Dwarfs won 1-0 over Bechem United to boost their chances of beating the drop.

Ernest Ackon scored the winner which lifts Dwarfs from the bottom of the log with two games to go.
