The Board of Directors of Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) has expressed their condolences to the family of P. V Obeng, who until his untimely death, was a member of the Board.

P.V. Obeng joined the GGBL Board in 1998 and provided enormous support to the business through experienced counsel and guidance that contributed to GGBL’s position as the leading total beverage business in Ghana.

During his tenure on the Board, the business grew its capitalization from GH¢79,000.00 to GH¢96 million.

David Harlock, Board Chairman said, ‘GGBL and indeed Ghana has lost a great talent. We remember P.V. Obeng for the astute business insight and guidance he provided at our board meetings, Annual General Meetings and every time we called on him for support and advice. ‘We are deeply saddened by his death and we express our condolence to the bereaved family, especially his wife and children.’
