Rahim Ayew, son of Abedi Pele has indicated that the coaching staff of Asante Kotoko needs to be hailed for the team’s 23 league title.
The Porcupine Warriors wrapped-up the league title on Wednesday by beating New Edubiase United for the very first time at Bekwai and Ayew believes the technical team of the league champions should be credited for being behind the playing body in thick and thin.
‘At certain times of the season, salaries were not coming, but the coaching staff encouraged us to steadfast and that was what really kept us going throughout the season, so I think they played a major role to our league’s success
‘Hadn’t been the contribution and the advice of the coaching staff in the persons of Mas-ud Didi Dramani, Michael Osei, Godwin Ablodey, we wouldn’t have come this far as a club, the former Zamalek player told Metro fm.
The 26-years-old was part of the Black Stars team that reached the quarter finals of the World Cup in 2010.
