Defending league champion Kumasi Asante Kotoko confirmed their league title triumph after beating New Edubiase 2-1 at the Gyamfi Park in Bekwai on Wednesday afternoon in the match day 28 of the First Capital Plus Premier League.

Two goals from striker Seidu Bancey and winger Prince Baffoe in the first half were enough to secure the Porcupine Warriors all three points away.

Seidu Bancey capitalized on a defensive blunder to knock the ball over the Edubiase goalkeeper in the 41st minute before Prince Baffoe made 2-0 with a fine finish in the 45th minute to end the first half.
