Miami Heat level series against Indiana Pacers

LeBron James and his team had a big fourth quarter at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse to see the Eastern Conference Finals series locked at 1-1.

Two-time defending champions Miami went on a key 10-0 run in the last, including six straight points from James, who finished with 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Dwyane Wade produced a team-high 23 points for the Heat to go with his five rebounds and five assists, with Norris Cole (11 points) the only other Miami player to manage double figures.

James and Wade combined to score 22 of the Heat’s 25 fourth-quarter points.

Lance Stephenson had a game-high 25 points along with seven assists and six rebounds for the Pacers.

Stephenson got plenty of support as Roy Hibbert had a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Paul George (14 points), George Hill (13) and David West (10) produced double figures.

The Heat led 41-37 at half-time before a 26-21 third quarter had the Pacers leading and dreaming of a 2-0 series lead.

Yet, the James-inspired Heat turned it around in the last to square the series at 1-1.

The Pacers, the top seeds, have given up home-court advantage ahead of back-to-back games at the American Airlines Arena.

A series loss would be the third straight year the Pacers have fallen to the Heat in the play-offs, including at the same stage last season.
