Bring it on: Attobrah flown down to face Kotoko

Abdul Salam Yakubu affectionally known in football cycles as Sabato, the President of New Edubiase has promised that his team will silence Asante Kotoko at the Bekwai Gyamfi Park on Wednesday.

New Edubiase face the league leaders in a mid-week duel on match day 28 of the first Capital Plus Premier League and a win for the Porcupine Warriors would crown them league champions with two matches to go.

However, the president of Edubiase believes Kotoko would win this season’s league, but Bekwai won’t be the grounds, because his team is battling relegation, so they can’t afford to drop points.

‘We are serious about this match, because our position on the league is not all that good and due to this game our talisman Asiedu Attobrah has been flown from Germany to help us avoid relegation,’ Sabato told Metro fm.

‘Kotoko shouldn’t think of getting a point at Bekwai and the statistics are clear that they have never beaten us at home, so Wednesday won’t be an exception

‘Kotoko are favourites to win the league, but that won’t be at Bekwai, so they should look elsewhere for the crowning moment.’

The Porcupine Warriors have lost two and drawn two in their four outings to the home grounds of New Edubiase, being Obuasi or Bekwai.
