2014 World Cup: Cheki Ghana confident in Black Stars’ success in Brazil


New Black Stars sponsors, Cheki are backing the team to succeed in the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.

Ghana will be making its third appearance at the finals at the world showpiece which kicks off on June 12.

Cheki, an online platform for the sale of cars committed $100,000 to become a sponsor of the Black Stars for the next two years.

The company has been already impressed with their partnership with the Ghana FA and have sent a message of encouragement to the Black Stars ahead of the commencement of their preparations towards the World Cup.

“We here at Cheki have so much confidence in the team, we believe they will do our great country proud in Brazil, hence our recent association with the Ghana Football Association and for that matter the Black Stars,” Cheki’s country manager Eric Amoako Twum said.

“Our recent $100,000 deal with the GFA was a clear testament of our faith in the brand that is flying the name of Ghana high.

“We are urging the technical and the playing body on to succeed in Brazil.”

The Black Stars team will begin preparations for the World Cup with a non-residential camp on Tuesday in Accra.
