South African side Golden Arrows won’t renew Seth Owusu contract

Relegated South African side Golden Arrows have decided not to renew the contract of Ghanaian defender Seth Owusu.

Owusu joined the Backheel Boys in January on a six-month deal but will not see his contract renewed following the side’s demotion from the country’s top-flight side.

The Abafana Bes’thende side have begun the clear out with the club parting ways with striker Norman Smith and midfielder Lebohang Mothibantwa.

The two are set to join goalkeeper Ryan Harrison and Ghanaian defender Seth Owusu, whose contracts will not be renewed.

The 23-year-old joined the side after a difficult spell at Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak.                  .
