Hearts of Oak squash Kurt Okraku Managing Director rumours

Hearts of Oak have dispelled media reports that the club are on the verge of poaching Kurt Okraku as their new Managing Director.

The administrative position at the club has been vacant after Neil Amstrong-Mortagbe was told to step aside following allegations of misconduct.

Mortagbe is being interdicted and being investigated and already there are reports he would not return to his post.

A statement signed by the club’s Public Relations Officer said: “The club is not recruiting a new Managing Director. Nor has it mandated any member to speak to anybody about the Managing Director’s post.

“As you are aware, the Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV was mandated by the Board to act as Executive Chairman pending the conclusion of the matter concerning the Club’s indicted Managing Director, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe.”
