Medeama defender Richmond Nketiah has arrived in Latvia to complete a season- loan move to top-flight side Skonto FC, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The youngster is expected to put pen-to-paper on a one-year loan deal if he passes a medical.
Nketiah has impressed officials of the European club during training sessions and will be offered the deal if he passes a mandatory medical.
He will join compatriots Ofosu Appiah, who has also become a vital piece in defense for the most successful Latvian side.
The 21-year-old was member of Ghana’s Under-20 squad that won bronze at the 2013 World Youth Championship in Turkey.
