US And EU Must Sanction Mahama’s Top Government Offcials

Ghanaians are in great disappointment, and there are no words to adequately describe their anger at the greedy, selfish, loot and share corrupt leaders who have brought this shame upon us.

We are extremely worried about Ghana’s image internationally, and if care is not taken our hard working men and women will lose trust and opportunities amongst other countries globally.

Coalition of Young Liberals(COYLIB) warned of the pitfalls of President Mahama and his refusal to resign after it emerges he was not in total control of his administration.

President Mahama has caused more harm to our nation than any other head of state in the annals of the country. The President and his brother via his state appointees do not have the interest of Ghana at heart.

We have witnessed countries whose members are struggling with their bad image internationally due to parochial and selfish attitude of their former political leaders and government officials.

United States of America and the European Union have played enormous contribution to our country since independence and they continue to play a vital role even at the verge of collapse of our economy with aids that keep our people alive.

The New York Times is a newspaper of public record, and it meets higher standards of journalism across the globe. The carbon copy ministers and staffers must not undermine the credibility of the New York Times publication. They must stop the shameful misrepresentation of facts that cannot be put out for Ghanaian consumption.

If the New York Times publication was a ‘’hoax’’ as circulated in the Ghanaian media by Ministers of State then the onus lies on the President to explain the facts to the citizens.

The New York Times reporters made it clear with their publication on the 17th, 18th of April 2014, and it states ‘’ Former federal officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said they believed
that the plane has been used to transport President Mahama before.

They based that conjecture partly on the plane’s known itineraries from photos posted online.

One image captured the plane flying to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where President Mahama spoke in September. The Ghanaian president was also in London last October when the aircraft was spotted leaving there for Accra.’’

Abraham Lincoln once said, “You can fool some of the people all the time, and all of the people some of the time but you cannot fool all of the people all the time.”

Whilst Bank of Utah members involved are willing to resign, the Ghanaian counterparts are lacing their boots to contest the next election.

The US and EU contributions towards Ghana development cannot be disputed, and we will not sit down unconcerned for President Mahama and his cohorts to toil with the country’s destiny with such a young population. The President must understand that Ghanaians are hundred percent (100%) better off with or without the deals in Iran.

We urge US authorities not to sleep over this issue; we call for a full investigation.

We humbly asked the German Chancellor Angel Markel to suspend President Mahama state visit to Germany until United States of American has completed the research surrounding the Bombardier jetliner in Iran.

Our foreign policies are of international standard; the silence of Ministry of Foreign affairs and their lack of diplomacy to condemn such a “breach” of international cooperation make them the weakest link in the global village.

We asked the American Leadership and the European Union to put the current government officials under their radar due to their gross disregard of international law.

Coalition of Young Liberals (COYLIB) will like to commend the New York Times for such a wonderful piece of journalism, and asked their outfit to continue to keep an eye on our leaders who are pursuing different agenda contrary to what they were elected to do for the populace.

Ghanaians are hardworking people, and we do not want to lose our legitimacy and pride in the international community.

God blesses Ghana
