Ejisu police set to prosecute teacher, student for exams fraud

Police at Ejisu are due to arraign a teacher and a student at Diamond Link Academy at Adadientem, near Ejisu, before court for alleged examination fraud.

Twenty-four-year-old Assistant Housemaster, Gabriel Ansu, was picked up last month at Ejisuman Senior High School examination centre.

It followed the discovery of materials on him said to be answers to Mathematics questions he had intended to pass on to candidates in the on-going senior high school final examination.

Also in police grip is twenty-one-year-old first- year student of Jackson Education Complex, Appiah Yaw Kusi, who impersonated one Asumadu Sakyi, who is currently at large.

District Commander, Chief Superintendent Stephen Kwasi Kwakye, told Nhyira News, Ansu, who was arrested with the foreign materials has denied the charge.

Police however insist there is enough evidence to prosecute him together with Kusi who has admitted to the crime.
