Kotoko coach Didi Dramani desperate for his want-away top players to stay

Kotoko coach Mas-ud Dramani is anxious to hang onto his top stars as they near the exit.

The Porcupine Warriors are set to clinch their third successive title in the coming days but could be without a number of their players at the end of the current campaign.

Kwabena Edusei, Abeiku Ainooson, Michael Akufo, goalkeeper Soulama and Seidu Bancey have all been linked with moves away from the club at the end of the season.

The record-League holders will stage a return to Africa with African Champions League football looming and coach Dramani fears the potential exit of his many top stars could prove disastrous.

The former Ghana Under-17 female team coach wants the future of his want-away players to be settled.

“We want the players to stay here because this club has big ambitions for the future,” he told sportscrusader.com.

“We want to finish at the top by winning our remaining games.

“The Champions League is so close again. One of the ingredients we have had this season was to respond when everyone was writing us off”.

Kotoko crashed out of Africa’s elite inter club-competition at the first hurdle and will be keen to make a stronger comeback in the next edition.
