Kenya Awards 7 Oil Blocs To Nigerian Businessmen

Kenya has awarded Nigerian businessmen 7 of their newly discovered 46 oil blocs.

Chairman of the Nigeria-Kenya Chamber of Commerce, Dr Kiprono Kittony revealed this when he met with business men from Nigeria and Kenya.

The New Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the meeting was among the activities lined up for President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya visit to Nigeria.

Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Kenyatta took over the closing part of the business meeting.

The  Nigeria-Kenya Chamber of Commerce was founded last year september during a state visit of President Jonathan to Kenya.

During Jonathan’s visit, Kenyan official’s had offered 46 newly discovered oil blocks to investors, Nigerian investor took up the opportunity and invested in the nation.

Not only oil investors but from the banking sector too, Three Nigerian banks now operate in Kenya .
