THE CHIEF of Breman in Kumasi, Baffuor Kotei Kutin Sraman, temporarily turned campaign manager of President Mahama, ahead of the 2016 polls.

The traditional leader, without mincing words, predicted a landslide victory for President Mahama in the next elections at a public function on Saturday.

The Breman chief did not only predict a victory for the President, but also said President Mahama would win the polls on a silver platter.

He also assured the President of the votes of his people to enable him to retain power in 2016 and continue with his good works.

Baffuor Kutin Sraman was addressing a gathering when President Mahama visited the area to inspect a completed road project.

But the Bremanhene decided to use the grand event to campaign for the President, even two years ahead of the next polls.

He said Breman’s road had been in a deplorable state for years, with past administration only making promises to repair it.

The Breman Chief said President Mahama, after taking over political power, pumped cash for the road to be repaired to ease vehicular movement.

He said the completion of the road project had also helped to beautify the place, thanking the President for his timely intervention.

Baffuor Kutin Sraman stated that the chiefs and people of Breman were indeed delighted over the completion of the road, saying ‘the people of Breman shall never forget about what President Mahama had done for them.’

Baffuor Kutin Sraman, like a soothsayer, predicted that President Mahamna would win the next elections without sweat.

‘Continue with your good works and you shall win the next elections easily,’ he told the President, reiterating that the people of Breman were behind him.

Earlier on, Development and Traffic Engineer, Urban Roads, Kumasi, Nana Atta Poku Agyeman, briefed the President about the scope of work done on the road.

President Mahama and other top members of the government were beaming with smiles over the chief’s open endorsement for him.

In his succinct remarks, the President stated that it was his prime vision to develop Kumasi and the entire Ashanti Region.

He disclosed that a 20-kilometre stretch of town roads had been completed in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital, by government.

President Mahama announced that plans were underway by government to construct additional 50 kilometres of town roads in the area.

He expressed delight over the completion of the Breman road project, adding that the completion of the project would enhance free movement of people.
