Moroka Swallows chief Leon Prins has dismissed claims they are in search of a new coach, killing off reports of the appointment of Ghanaian coach David Duncan.
The ex Hearts of Oak coach has been linked to a return to South African football where he last coached Free State Stars.
Duncan is currently out of work following his shocking dismissal at Hearts of Oak over a rumoured rift with the club’s board chairman Togbe Afede XIV.
Swallows’ Managing Director Leon Prins however insists the club is not looking for a new coach as they are fully focused on their bid to survive relegation.
“I have heard so many reports about coaches and players joining Swallows, but I would like to put it on record that we’re not talking to any coach or player,” he said.
“We are facing a relegation battle and our focus is to survive the drop, so we have put any contract talks on hold until the end of the season.
“The only people we’re talking to are the sponsors, and those talks are still ongoing.”
Moroka Swallows are two places above the drop zone with just two matches to the end of the season.
