Appiah to lecture at course for national coaches

Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah joins a band of elite coaches to drive the agenda for implementing identical brand of football for all the national teams.

Appiah together with former national team coaches Ben Koufie, Sam Arday and A.K. Edusei will lecture at the first coordinated course national team coaches organised by the Ghana Football Association.

The Black Stars coach discuss topic; ‘Problems inherent in coaching at national team level’ on the second day of the three-day course which starts on Monday and ends on Wednesday at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.

The course is aimed at developing a national training grid with identical philosophies, methodology and application, culminating in all the national teams playing an identical brand of football.

The training course will involve lectures and practical exercises, ‘Systems’ and tactics of the game, as well as practical coaching at the high level.

Lectures on Psychology and Progressive Loading in Systematic Training will also feature in the three-day Programme.
