Soundcity, a lifestyle channel in collaboration with GHone TV , will host a celebrity bash dubbed ‘VGMA Warm Up Party’ at Club 45, former Exel Nite Club, come tomorrow, Friday, May 2.
The party, which is the first of its kind in the history of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, is designed to give music fans an opportunity to interact with Africa’s biggest celebrities, win fantastic giveaways including free tickets to the 2014 VGMA, recharge cards and other souvenirs.
According to Merqury Quaye, Brand Manager of Soundcity Ghana, “Soundcity is proud to join forces with GHOne for this party which adds to make this year’s VGMA a ground-breaking experience which spreads music everywhere.”
Soundcity, he said, ‘Has established itself as a major force to reckon with when it comes to parties of this kind, after hosting sold out events including the Soundcity relaunch party, Soundcity premium party and Chairman VIP party’, events which have attracted Africa’s biggest talents including DBanj, MI, Iyanya, Sarkodie, Efya, Ice Prince, 4X4 and Davido.
Tickets to the event was released for sale on Tuesday, April 29 at GH¢40 for regular, GH¢100 for VIP and a special GH¢30 rate for students with ID cards.
The ‘VGMA Warm Up Party’ is sponsored by Vodafone, refreshed by Star Beer and supported by Johnnie Walker.
