AshantiGold coach Bashir Hayford says he is using the remaining games in the Ghanaian top flight to prepare his youngsters to take over from the under-performing senior players.
The Miners have fallen off their title challenge and are currently 10 th on the league log despite having a game in hand.
The Obuasi-based club are even in danger of fallen into the heated battle to escape relegation.
Coach Bashir Hayford who has come under intense pressure lately however says he is preparing the youngsters at the club to take over from the underperforming senior players.
“It is unfortunate but I am changing the face of the team,” he said.
“I am preparing the junior ones for next season because we are not sure of the performance of the senior ones.”
