Please donot undertake any form of dietary or physical routine changes without medical supervision.

So, pregnant and got little to do? Off on your maternity leave and got bored playing angry birds? We are here to bail you out. You do not have to
stare in vacuum all day trying to figure out what exactly can you do without straining your little one. Except obviously dreaming of how the future is
going to mould its presence in your life. Here are 10 easiest things to do when you are pregnant. Follow these and say bye to pregnancy boredom

10. REST TILL YOU CANNOT ANYMORE
I am pretty sure your hormones are instigating you to pull my hair out right now. But this is the most obvious thing to do. To not over-strain, you
should not strain. To not strain, take rest, till you cannot rest anymore. Your baby needs rest too. Tell me about gaining extra weight, besides the
baby weight but that would go to. Some common symptoms that tell you are not taking enough rest are swollen feet, back ache, excessive exhaustion or
weakness. Taking rest need not mean you need to remain alone in bed. You may have friends or cousins over and chat with them while you lay relaxed.

9. EAT EVERYTHING NUTRITIOUS OR NOT SO MUCH
Oh I am sure you are like “Everyone’s told me that. What new? “Let me tell you there is ‘nothing new’ but it is absolutely inevitable from this list.
When you are pregnant and do not eat, you know the consequences? You are starving not one but two lives. Ok, biologically they do not consider a
foetus like a living child but you know the strings attached. Don’t you? Who would better than you? Eat everything nutritious for a healthy baby and
you can have your cheat days too. Have what your tongue likes instead of what your health does. I am sure there would be some nutrition in that too.

8. PRE-NATAL EXERCISES
Disclaimer: Do not undertake any physical training without medical supervision or without consulting your physician.
It is a very common yet healthy and beneficial activity to do in your pre-natal days. You can join alone or maybe the couple classes organized at
various centres. The exercises are basic breathing exercises and some stretches that decrease chances of changes in the position of the baby.

7. SHOP- NOT TILL YOU DROP, BUT SHOP
Do NOT shop till you drop. That is something which is a big NO in a pregnancy. But shop for your little one. Tell you what? It would not only make you
get done with all the preparations that need to be done for the arrival of the little one but will also get you closer to your baby. In choosing what
to shop for your baby you would end up thinking more about it. Also you will spend more time realizing how exactly you want to nurse and bring up the
little one.

6. DECIDE ON NAMES FOR THE LITTLE ONE
You must do it. It is more fun than you think it would be. Remember how excited you were in your childhood to name that little cousin of yours? It is
time now to name your own child. Shortlist names for both boys and girls. Find out meanings of those names. Decide onto a couple of them. You will
remember the name search forever. You will also end up with lots of more knowledge of names and their meanings. You would not mind. Would you?

5. TURN ON YOUR CREATIVE NERVES
They say your little one inculcates almost every habit you have had or have adobted during your pregnancy. You want that super creative, super active
child? Do it all yourself. Switch on the creative you. Maybe you can start with doing the baby’s room. You’ll be creative and you’d have a room for
your little one too, just like you wanted it to be. You can make a memory book too. Decorate it. Update it with your pregnancy photographs, Ultrasound
reports and graphs and leave lots of space for what is yet to come. Later, it would be like revisiting one of the best times of your life. If you are
pregnant right now, I bet you will disagree though .

4. GET CRANKY, HAVE MOOD SWINGS
You are not going to remember the morning sickness. You may not remember the appointments with the doctor or the getting fat part because of which you
were scared of a pregnancy. You would ALWAYS remember your mood swings and midnight ice-creams. Take my word on it, no Mom ever forgets her tantrums
and crankiness in her pregnancy. And what better than having a license for it too. You do not have as much liberty when you are PMSing too. So getting
cranky and having mood swings is absolutely okay. Do not try to hold it down. Unless of course you are being a pain and you know it.

3. BE AT PEACE WITH YOUR PARTNER
If you are not, you would not be at ease. Yeah, deny me all you can, but you know you aren’t right. Talk to your partner more often. It would calm
your nerves. Your baby’s too. There are strings attached. You know too well. The baby is as much a part of him as of you. Be at peace with your
partner. Don’t argue. You would always remember the time spent with your partner in your pregnancy more than you would remember the times you spent
missing sharing with him the experience of that first kick and first foot print. It is ok if you find him a jerk once in a while. Ladies who are not
so hormonally invaded find their partners jerks at times too.

2. TALK TO YOUR BABY
It is the best way to form a bond with that part of you living within you. It is like that inevitable ‘ME’ time of your life. Talk to your baby about
anything and everything. You will realize you have the best listener. It is not without reason they say that mom’s get best friends in their little
ones. Speak to your baby about its surroundings, your feelings, life in general. Just talk. It would help attach strings.

1. MEDITATION AND INNER PEACE
The best you can do for your baby is radiate positivity. Be positive. Keep Happy. Those positive vibrations will reflect in your baby. Moreover if you
are at inner peace with yourself, you are sure to face fewer or no complications with your pregnancy. Keeping at inner peace would keep your blood
pressure in check which is absolutely important for a healthy pregnancy. The baby would not feel strained if you are positive. Meditation is one of
the best ways to radiate positive feelings. Feel good about everything around you. I can guarantee you will never regret. And you might just form a
great habit for life too. Your habits would reflect in your little one too so I think it is about time you stop reading and start following.
