Wa All Stars down Faisal in close contest

The chase for safety continued at the Wa Park on Sunday as Wa All Stars defeated King Faisal 1-0 in the Premier League.

A second minute penalty by Abdul Ganiu Ismail made difference as the Blues moved three points above the relegation zone.

Wa All Stars could have doubled their lead in the second half but Ismail could not find his spot as he missed another penalty that came his way.

With four more games to go, there relegation battle continues as four teams are level on 33 points with Medeama, who are third from bottom though they have two games in hand on their rivals.
