Becca sympathises with Abuja blast victims

Ghanaian afropop musician, Rebecca Akosua Acheampong, popularly known as Becca has urged Nigerians to be strong as they deal with the Abuja bombing.

According to officials, more than 70 people have lost their lives due to the bomb blast that occurred at the crowded Nyanya bus station on the outskirts of Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.

In her message of condolence, Becca says “Africa lost the moment a grain of hair was lost.”

“My deepest condolence to the victims and families and To the great state of Nigeria on your loss yesterday, in Abuja. Your loss is our loss as well. Africa lost the moment a grain of hair was hurt! May God grant us all peace and understanding,” she wrote.

No group has taken responsibility for the attack, but Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has blamed Boko Haram.
