Mr Julius Debrah, Eastern Regional Minister, has called on residents of the region to work towards making it the best in the country.
He said achieving that would depend on hard work and ensuring that only the best practices and policies were promoted.
Mr Debrah said this in his maiden meeting with representatives of the various media houses in the region at Koforidua on Friday.
He promised to support small and medium scale enterprises and called for a determined effort to promote made-in-Ghana goods and the need to add value to the many agricultural produce from the region to help create employment for the youth.
