I Owe No One An Apology For “Foolish” Sir John Remark – Ohene Ntow

Frost relationships and the use of vile propaganda appears to have taken center stage in the week preceding the New Patriotic Party (NPP’s) National Delegates’ Congress to elect national executives.

Amongst the heated issues that startled everyone was a description by Nana Ohene Ntow that the current General Secretary for the NPP got elected by delegates because of his “foolish” style of addressing issues.

This ignited a verbal war between Nana Ohene Ntow and sympathizers of Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, who have heavily used the media to reply Mr. Ntow. But Mr. Ntow believes they have gone far and in most cases reproached him based on false information.

In an interview with Okay FM, Mr. Ntow who is also a former General Secretary for the NPP stressed that he owes no one an apology for the alleged “foolish” comment and never described the NPP delegates as “fools” for voting Sir John as his successor.

“I have never said delegates were fools to have voted for Sir John. Based on this I think I owe no one an apology and there is virtually nothing to apologize for,“ he said.

He again warned the media to be cautious in their bid to get to the bottom of an issue.

“When this issue came up, the media has behaved like it has a vested interest in it but is rather blazing the heat and making things worse,” he said.
