Parma coach, Roberto Donadoni has lavished praise on his midfielder, Afriyie Acquah, and stated boldly that he will be a very good material for Ghana at the World Cup.
Acquah, the TSG Hoffenheim loanee has had a very good season following consistent good performances for Parma in the Serie A.
The 22 year old has made 19 appearances for the Enio Tardini side and has instantly become an integral part of the squad.
The Glentoran Academy product was voted as man-of-the-match in Parma’s 1-1 home draw with Genoa.
Despite the high level of competition in the black Stars’ midfield, Donadoni says the 22-year-old can make the mark if considered for the tournament.
“We are sure that someone like Acquah can play at the World Cup with Ghana.
“Essien and Muntari have certainly lived a memorable year. Now it’s up to him to confirm his growth in the team,” Donadoni told Tuttomercato.
Acquah is currently one of the consistent Ghanaian players in the mainstream European leagues,
