Winning 2016 Election Is A Done Deal – NDC Organizer

THE RULING National Democratic Congress (NDC) is poised to win 50% of the total votes in the Ashanti region to retain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in perpetual opposition.

Mr. Akwasi Abayie, the Ashanti Regional organizer of NDC in charge of operations, told The Chronicle not take serious the alleged bragging of the New Regional executives of the NPP in the region, to the effect that NDC will not survive in the region after the 2016 general elections.

According to him, the NDC, as a party, is more than determined to win overwhelmingly than the previous two elections, where the party was able to get over 30% of the total votes in the region.
He said this was possible because of NPP’s weakness in organization.

The regional Organiser said the NDC had the men to execute the job under the leadership of Chairman Yaw Obempeh.

According to Mr. Abayie, what is left is for Ghanaians and all party faithful to rally behind the President, John Dramani Mahama and his government to deliver.

He pleaded with the supporters to always remain calm and united and support programmes of executives towards winning the 2016 which he said is a done deal for the NDC.

Mr. Abayie also stressed that neither the return of Nana Akufo-Addo nor the election of new regional NPP chairman was a bother to the NDC.

He also said the current economic hardship was only transient and that with time it would be over for Ghanaians to experience good times ahead as promised by the President.
